You can complete the FAA requirements required for the issuance of a Type Rating or a Second-In-Command Type Rating in your aircraft on your schedule. Type rating requirements as outlined in the U.S. FAA Practical Test Standard must be complied with. Applicants should have a valid U.S. pilot certificate and FAA approved medical certificate as well as written test results (if required), and are encouraged to complete the application for a practical test online at: http://acra.faa.gov/iacra Foreign applicants for a U.S. pilot certificate must also meet the verification requirements of the FAA at http://www.faa.gov/ and background requirements of the Department of Homeland Security at https://www.flightschoolcandidates.gov/ as applicable.
